The Riley Institute of Furman University
ETV partners with the the Riley Institute of Furman University to present the annual Wilkins Leadership Awards Ceremony. The Award for Excellence in Legislative Leadership is presented to a member of the S.C. Legislature. The Award for Excellence in Civic Leadership is presented to a community leader. ETV provides professionally produced testimonial videos of each recipient, to be premiered at the annual Awards Ceremony. ETV also airs the complete Awards Ceremony on State House Today, which airs on ETVWorld.
The goal of the Riley Institute is to bring local, national and international leaders to South Carolina and to Furman University. Through underwriting of collaborative research, study abroad and internships for Furman students, the Riley Institute “creates a synergy of discussion, analysis and understanding about public policy, leadership, and government, not only for Furman students, but for the broader regional and national community.”
