Pee Dee Explorer
ETV partnered with the Pee Dee Land Trust to create a website highlighting the many natural, cultural, historic, and agricultural landmarks of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. The site is a virtual treasure trove of stories told by farmers, naturalists, historians, conservationists and other members of the Pee Dee community with intimate knowledge of the land. Containing over six hours of video vignettes that characterize the relationship of the land and the people who live there, the site serves as both an educational resource and tour guide to the region's many landmarks, farms, festivals, and parks. K-12 teacher and student resources connect the Web content to the classroom through lesson plans, standards correlations, and related Web content, and visitor information is provided for schools and the general public.
