S.C. Department of Education eMedia and the ETV American Graduate Project
Finding Money for College 2012 is a special program to assist students and parents in seeking ways to pay for a college education. Produced by the S.C. Department of Education’s eMedia team working in partnership with ETV and the ETV American Graduate Project, this annual program features financial aid professionals from the University of South Carolina, Clemson University, and Wofford College. Finding Money for College features advice from Sheila Sparks, Director of Guidance from Wando High School. To provide information and answer questions on accessing scholarships, grants and loans, the panel includes Earl Mayo, Director of S.C. Higher Education Tuition Grants Commission, and Karen Woodfaulk, Director of Student Services, S.C. Commission on Higher Education.
This year’s program features a special segment taped at Wando High School in the Charleston County School District about high school guidance services. which help students find financial assistance for college. It includes Wando High students giving their peers advice about what can help them in the process. Congratulations to Wando for being selected as our feature school this year on Finding Money for College!
