ETV partners with the S.C. Association of School Administrators (SCASA) throughout the year to help enhance and promote leadership and training efforts to superintendents, principals and other school administrators.

Part of SCASA’s mission is to be the leading force for public education in our state, to advocate for a superior education for the citizens of South Carolina and to ensure a cadre of effective leaders for our state’s schools.

Lexington School District One Award-Winning Teachers, Lynn Dempsey and Lori Russell

ETV would like to congratulate Lynn Dempsey from Lexington Elementary School and Lori Russell from Meadow Glen Elementary School, both of Lexington School District One, for coming in first place in the PBS LearningMedia and The Henry Ford's 2012 Teacher Innovator Awards.

Dempsey and Russell are two of only ten top place finishers nationwide recognized for their work utilizing technology in innovative ways to inspire and educate young minds. View the video below.

The Powder Magazine of South Carolina

ETV has a long-standing partnership with the Powder Magazine to provide education resources for the classroom. The Powder Magazine develops lesson plans with an emphasis on South Carolina history through collaboration between the Powder Magazine and the Education Department at the College of Charleston. StreamlineSC features these quality lesson plans throughout the state and beyond. ETV also provides hands-on training for teachers about how to use Powder Magazine resources with their students.
