A panel of educators and community leaders joins State Superintendent of Education Mick Zais to discuss how South Carolina’s career and technology teachers and career centers are connecting the classroom to the world of work by providing students real-world experience and access to technical certificate programs. In this edition of In Our Schools – Career Technology Education (CTE) Articulation in the Trident Region broadcast on ETV during National Career and Technology Education Month, viewers are invited to take a look at how the Charleston and Berkeley County School Districts are working with Trident Technical College to provide a seamless pathway articulation for students to higher education. We’ll see how students follow their career path to higher education and then to S.C.’s high skill and high demand workforce through collaborative business and education partnerships as we learn how “real-world” education is leading to workforce readiness.
