Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trips for 2014-15

Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trips for 2014-15

Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trips (CWEFT) support American history education for students in grades 4-8 and programs are correlated to standards, providing a compelling learning experience for students. South Carolina schools are invited to participate in the Emmy Awarding-winning series next school year!

ALL SC schools may view CWEFT programs on ETV’s South Carolina Channel (SCC) at 1:00 pm on the dates of the LIVE programs (see dates and rights statement below). Through a partnership with ETV, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation will award scholarships for all seven programs. This allows schools that apply and are selected to access the supporting teacher materials and keep recorded programs for life of recording. Plus, their students may interact with scholars and re-enactors during the broadcasts!

If you have not received a scholarship in previous years, you may apply by sending contact name, phone and email along with school name and shipping address, district name, and approximate # of students at school who would view programs. Email by September 8 to Bette Jamison at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Schools that do not receive a scholarship and want full access may pay @ $50 per program. Contact Dale Van Eck at CWEFT 1-800-761-8331 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
