Students can discover how enslaved Americans made choices every day during the Civil War that helped bring about their freedom.

The CWEFT programs use 21st century technology to enrich the teaching of history and social studies, making the subjects exciting and relevant to today’s classrooms. Dr. Imtiaz Haque is Executive Director of the Carroll A. Campbell Graduate Engineering Center and Founding Chair of the Department of Automotive Engineering at Clemson University. He is past chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His teaching and research interests lie in the general areas of dynamics, vibrations, mechanisms and machines, and manufacturing process simulation. He has been involved with the design, modeling, and simulation of mechanical systems including vehicles and transmissions since 1975.
