SC educators can earn credit by the June 30th renewal cycle deadline through participation in one or more of the ETV Teacher Recertification upcoming sessions--47 courses (plus several new courses TBA) that earn 20 renewal credits offered each session and Rudy Mancke’s Natural History course offered in special session, too!

The Emmy Award-winning Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trips (CWEFT) use 21st century technology to enrich the teaching of American history for 4-8th grade students! The next CWEFT is a premiere program entitled The American Revolution on the Frontier. It airs LIVE November 6 at 1:00 pm on ETV’s South Carolina Channel (SCC). ETV’s new StreamlineSC partner is content provider Learn360, which provides rich resources across all content areas correlated to standards. Plus, in addition to the quality resources provided by Learn360, ETV continues to transition the SDE and ETV-produced content to the new system.

On Friday, September 19, 2014, the SC Budget and Control Board released the award for the statewide assessment pursuant to Act 200. For this school year, ACT Aspire (ELA and Math) will be given in grades 3-8 and ACT will be given in grade 11. For school year 2015-16, ACT Aspire will be given in grades 3-9 and ACT in grade 11. In school year 2016-17, ACT Aspire will be given in grades 3-10 and ACT in grade 11.
