SCETV Teacher Recertification Courses—Summer Session Begins July 10

Registration: June 19 - July 3

Summer Session: (8 weeks) July 10 - Sept. 4, 2013

Due to recent restructuring at the SC Department of Education (SCDE) that included the merger of eMedia with SCDE Office of Virtual Education, the ITV/eMedia Teacher Recertification courses are now managed by South Carolina ETV.

These courses have been approved through SCDE's Office of Certification and are now called SCETV Teacher Recertification Courses. The content of the courses remains the same.

The courses are for recertification/nenewal credit only (NO graduate credit).

Several new courses are offered including TECH574, "Leveraging Smart and Social Digital Media in the Classroom"! Educators are invited to attend POSSCON 2013, which is scheduled for March 27 & 28 at IT-oLogy in Columbia.  POSSCON is an annual conference featuring open source software and hardware.  In 2012 approximately 600 people attended from 20 states, including many educators.
