Are you looking for an exciting way to become part of your public broadcasting family? ETV and ETV Radio offer many opportunities for you, your organization, your family, and friends to become involved.
Pledge Phone Volunteer for the Television Membership Campaigns
Sign up your community group or organization and receive great publicity while enjoying a few hours of fundraising fun in our television studio! Bring 14 volunteers to answer phones during our March, August, or December campaigns. Your group will receive an on-air interview; on-air coverage throughout the shift; and a thank-you on-air, on our Website, and in our SCENE magazine.

Sign up individually or sign up your community group or organization and receive great publicity while enjoying a few hours of fundraising fun in our radio studio! Come alone or bring five to eight volunteers from your group to answer phones during our February, June, or October campaigns. Your group will receive an on-air interview; on-air coverage throughout the shift; and a thank-you on-air, on our Website, and in our SCENE magazine.
Hospitality Host
Work with area food vendors during membership campaigns. Responsibilities could include confirming food donations with scheduled restaurants, picking up meals on the afternoons of donations, assisting with setting-up, keeping dining area clean and replenishing food as needed.
Costumed Character or Handler
Dress as a children's costumed character or assist the costumed character as a handler at special events.
Tour Guide
Conduct tours of the ETV Telecommunications Center. Volunteer tour guides would support staff tour guides by conducting tours on certain days and/or for certain groups. Training will be provided, and a staff member will accompany the volunteer on their first two or three tours.
Special Events Host
Greet the public and distribute information at the ETV and ETV Radio booths at community events (3 Rivers Festival, State Fair, etc.).
General Office Help
Assist with clerical duties, data entry, bulk mailing, and other activities.
