Women in the Military

Women make up about 20 percent of today's military both in the past and the present.  Their role, especially in combat, has been a continued controversial issue.  However, they are now stepping up to take on some of the roles traditionally filled by males.  This edition of CONNECTIONS will reveal the role of women in the armed forces.

Your timing is excellent.

I am in the midst of directing a documentary on SC female veterans.  The public is woefully unaware of the difficulties our female veterans, from Vietnam to today, face when they return to civilian life.  We are interviewing women veterans RIGHT NOW! Any branch…any form of service.  Let your voices be herd, your stories told.
