Uncle Tom’s Cabin

Uncle Tom's Cabin was the best selling novel of the 19th century. It was credited with helping fuel the abolitionist cause in the 1850s. It depicted the reality of slavery while asserting that love can overcome something as destructive as enslavement of fellow human beings. It also played a role in teh start of the Civil War. CONNECTIONS uncovers the impact that Uncle Tom's Cabin played in being an agent of social change.

HI,

I am from the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford, CT.  I would like to know how to obtain a copy of this video for our archives.  Would appreciate help with this.  Thank you!

I caught the last part of the show today about the book, Uncle Tom’s Cabin and I wanted to know if there is a new book of Uncle Toms Cabin that was being recommended as a good read?
