S.C. Has Talent III
It is that time again for CONNECTIONS to highlight South Carolina's rising musical stars. We will also catch up with last season's artists to find out about their ventures since appearing on the show. You do not want to miss it!
"So, for what started as a favor for a friend developed into a string of singing engagements throughout the Southeast region in 2010. I never thought I would ever have a solo career. Being a musician and a songwriter was pleasure enough for me, but I'm totally embracing every good thing that comes my way. Music has always been a passion of mines and a way of expression. Every song that I write is a reflection of my personal experiences as a woman, daughter, a dreamer, a Christian, someone who's loved, someone who’s has been hurt, and someone who believes in second chances. I would describe my music as a bridge that crosses genres and age groups, influenced by gospel, jazz, classical, and soul music. My passion is for people to understand the power and beauty that they possess and learn to operate in it. I believe that with all the chaos that occurs, life can still be beautiful if we learn to love ourselves, love others, and love God.
Away from the artist scene, I am a board-certified music therapist who developed Beauty in Me, a music therapy experience which uses the art of music and other therapeutic activities to instill self-esteem and confidence into women of all ages. For more information about Beauty in Me please email BeautyinMe@ymail.com. Also, if you would like to book me for a singing engagement please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you all for the support in advance!"
