Steel Roads and Iron Men highlights the old Columbia Newberry and Laurens Railroad, with anecdotes of the trials, tribulations and tragedies experienced by those who worked for the now-defunct railroad line. Interviews with the men who drove the spikes and manned the engines, starting in the early 1940s, fuel this nostalgic journey back in time.
