A Potential Funding Source for Southern Filmmakers
People contact ETV and my office everyday with great ideas for documentaries. The biggest challenge is usually funding, especially when the economy is in a recession. The schedule for the Indie Grits Film Festival in Columbia, SC is now posted. As an offical sponsor of the festival, ETV will be giving a Southern Lens Independent Vision Award. American producers of public media send entries to SCETV every November to be considered for the INPUT conference held the following May. Next year, INPUT 2011 will be in Seoul, Korea.
