Producer Lynn Cornfoot shares her recent experience with Ernest Lee
Today I had the pleasure of spending some time with Ernest Lee, a.k.a. The Chicken Man. Ernest is a self-taught artist who can usually be found on the corner of Harden and Gervais streets in Columbia in his mobile open air art gallery. While his "Funky Chickens" are his main focus, Ernest also paints a variety of subjects for his "Art to Go" one stop shop. He has many repeat customers who buy his self labled pop art and it's a well known secret among them that you can't buy just one!
He is currently in production for a Michael Jackson Tribute Show at the Courtyard Marriott at 630 Assembly Street in Columbia on June 25-27, 2010. We'll be there to document the exhibit!
