This option completely removes the old receiver. It is important to note that the new receiver will NOT work until August 1, 2008. Following these directions will remove service until that time. If want to have both receivers available, try option 3.
- Set new receiver on top of old receiver
- Remove Power from your existing receiver
- Remove the coax cable that is connected to the K/V port on the back of the old receiver
- Take the cable just removed and connect it to the IF Input on the new receiver

- Remove the cable connected to the Out to TV port on the old receiver
- Connect that cable to the Out to TV port on the new receiver
- Remove the cable connected to the Antenna Input port of the old receiver (if applicable)
- Connect that cable to the Antenna In port on the new receiver (if applicable)
- Remove the old receiver and set aside
- Connect the power to the new receiver
If this procedure is followed you will have removed the old receiver and have a new Pansat 2700 installed in its place. This receiver will not show any video until after August 1, 2008. When the power button is turned off you will get a time display that starts by default at 0000 and begins to count. This is a 24 hour style clock. When the unit starts working in August this should change to the proper time.

Display Channel: Make sure the channel selection switch on the back of the receivers are in the same position/channel
Clock: The clock on the front display is shown in 24 hour mode. The clock is set by default to automatically update. These updates will begin after August 1, 2008. If you wish, there is a way to manually program your clock in the user menu
Channel Selection: To receive video on the old receiver you would choose channels 301-316. The new receivers only receive 10 channels. The new receivers come preprogrammed from SCETV with channels 1-10 mapped to view what was 301-310 on the old receivers. If you are looking for channel 306 for example, it would be now located on channel 6.
