Charleston Finding a Way to Heal

As Charleston moves forward after last week's tragic shooting of nine members of a historically black church, Palmetto Scene sat down with two prominent leaders in the city to talk about the process of forgiveness and healing. 

Mayor Joe Riley has served as Mayor of Charleston since 1975; he is in his tenth term. He is the longest serving mayor that is still living and in office. 

Reverend Joseph Darby is the First Vice President of the NAACP in Charleston. He is a former pastor and friend of the late Clementa Pinckney.
