ETV Education Adds New Wi-Fi Manager to Support PreK & Afterschool Initiatives

ETV Education is excited to announce the addition of Ms. Kimberly Singletary as the new Wi-Fi Manager  to support our PreK and Afterschool initiatives.

In this position, Kimberly Singletary will oversee ETV’s new Wi-Fi initiative. ETV provides free Wi-Fi devices and access to the Internet for eligible early learning and afterschool centers. Kimberly will provide training to incorporate ETV’s Pre K-12 content, such as our new 24/7 channel SCETV PBS Kids, Knowitall.org, LearningWhy, and South Carolina PBS LearningMedia

A wide variety of mobile devices are available through ETV’s EBS spectrum lease contract with Sprint. Kimberly’s responsibilities include assuring ETV and state compliancy with EBS contractual agreements and FCC regulations. She will work closely with the early learning and afterschool centers statewide as well as other educational partners to facilitate student learning and staff professional development. Kimberly received her Master’s in Education Technology and Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from USC.  She has extensive experience integrating technology with instruction and conducting professional development at R.E. Davis Elementary in the Sumter School District. Kimberly was the Campus Teacher of the Year in 2016-17, and was the PTA President for the last two years.
