Palmetto Scene

ETV’s weekly magazine-style series airs each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and focuses on SC arts and culture, business and economy, education, health, politics, and technology. 

NOTE: There will be TWO programs broadcast October 27 at 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 6 – Topics include: South Carolina continues to rank at the bottom in domestic violence deaths. We’ll talk to the experts on how what the state can do to protect the victims; look at how Alzheimer's can be prevented; talk about the practice of telepsychiatry and how it's helping patients.

Oct. 13 – Topics include: A look at the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew throughout South Carolina.

Oct. 20 – Topics include: A Conversation with the Candidates. Charles Bierbauer talks with candidates running for federal office. Interviews include: Hosea Cleveland, a Democrat running in District 3; Chris Fedalei, a Democrat running in District 4; and Laura Sterling, a Republican running District 6.

Oct. 27, 7:00 p.m. – Topics include: A Conversation with the Candidates. Charles Bierbauer talks with candidates running for District 1, Mark Sanford and Dimitri Cherny.

Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m. – Topics include: A Conversation with the Candidates. Charles Bierbauer talks with candidates running for District 2, Joe Wilson, Arik Bjorn, and Eddie McCain.
