Black America Since MLK: And Still I Rise

In his new four-hour PBS series, Black America Since MLK: And Still I Rise, Henry Louis Gates Jr. embarks on a deeply personal journey through the last fifty years of African American history. Joined by leading scholars, celebrities and a dynamic cast of people who shaped these years, Gates travels from the victories of the civil rights movement up to today, asking profound questions about the state of black America—and our nation as a whole.

PBS Kids:

Wild Kratts: Creatures of the Deep Sea will precede both airings of the premiere of Splash and Bubbles Airs: Weekdays at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on ETV


Splash and Bubbles Premiere

Splash, Bubbles, and their best friends Dunk and Ripple go on epic adventures, discovering marine biology and oceanography as they meet all kinds of “citizens of the sea.”

Governor’s Carolighting 2016

This year marks the 50th annual Governor’s Carolighting with musical performances by local groups and choirs leading up to the lighting of the State House Christmas tree.

Airs: Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. on ETV

         Dec. 12 at 8:00 a.m. on ETVW

         Dec. 12 at 8:00 p.m.; Dec. 25 at 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on SCC


Palmetto Scene

ETV’s weekly magazine-style series airs each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and focuses on SC arts and culture, business and economy, education, health, politics, and technology. 

NOTE:  On November 3, there will be TWO programs: one at 7:00 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m.

Nov. 3 at 7:00 p.m. – Topics include: A Conversation with the Candidates. Charles Bierbauer talks with candidates running for District 5, Democrat Fran Person and American Party Candidate Rudy Barnes.

Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. – Topics include: A Conversation with the Candidates. Charles Bierbauer talks with Thomas Dixon, a Democrat running for U.S. Senate. Also, we’ll preview the election.

Nov. 10 – Topics include: Education Programs honored by The Riley Institute's What Works SC; Telehealth; program honoring veterans.

Nov. 17 – Topics include: Healthcare in SC; education of Aerospace; Rock Hill Riverwalk.

Nov. 24 – (No program)


Dec. 15 – Topics include: Beryl Dakers sits down with Cassandra King to discuss the life and legacy of her late husband Pat Conroy.

Dec. 22 – Topics include: Special topics for the holidays.
