Christmas Around the World was a joint production of BBC ,SCETV,France FR3 and Germany ZDF and it was the largest and most intricate global telecast ever undertaken by public broadcasting. This live Christmas eve program of music from seven countries was the greatest two-way transmission ever conducted via satellite. Raymond Burr was the on-camera host for the US version which aired Dec 24,1977
Through StreamlineSC we served 1453 public schools, 303 private schools, 257 home schools and 42 Higher Ed Institutions.
Over the past 5 years Hanahan Elementary School in the Berkeley School District has the highest number of views watching ETV content on StreamlineSC with 44,828 views.
Last year we trained 6,523 teachers and staff, since 8-1-2005 we have trained 24,689 teachers and staff.
SCETV's Knowitall.org collection includes over 40 exciting, original Web sites for K-12 students, all tied to state curriculum standards.
At Knowitall.org, you can fire a virtual model rocket, hear Gullah songs and stories, or travel down South Carolina's rivers.
SCETV's Knowitall.org receives an average of more than 200,000 page views per month.
The top ten South Carolina cities sending visitors to Knowitall.org are Columbia, Greenville, Hartsville, Darlington, Spartanburg, Sumter, Bishopville, Ballentine, Myrtle Beach, and Blythewood.
At Knowitall.org, you can visit the state's historic sites from the Civil Rights movement, get to know our state's military heroes, or learn how art masterpieces are created.
Since its official launch in 2001, SCETV's Knowitall.org has had nearly 16 million page views.
